Lakeshore Weekly News: Sheriff Stanek elected 1st Vice President of National Sheriffs’ Association

Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek was elected and sworn in as first vice-president of the National Sheriffs’ Association during the annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, earlier this week, the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office said June 22.

“It is an honor to help lead this organization that ensures that every Sheriff and their employees have a voice in the national public safety conversation,” said Stanek. “Not only are we representing Sheriffs, but we are ensuring that best practices are shared nationally among agencies of all sizes to help meet the ever-changing demands of law enforcement.”
